Circle Up 2024 Camp Held at Bahçeşehir University!

 

From September 2 to 4, Bahçeşehir University North Campus organized the Circle Up Camp, an initiative designed to foster social benefits and the development of entrepreneurial skills in high school and university students.This year’s theme has been determined as “Decent Work and Economic Growth,” which is the 8th goal of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

 

The event gave young people the opportunity to develop innovative initiatives, improve cooperation skills, and expand their professional network. During the camp, which was sponsored by the BAU Hub Incubation Center, participants were able to improve their skills and abilities through a variety of workshops, trainings and collaborative activities.They also had the opportunity to learn more about social entrepreneurship and economic growth, which allowed them build practical solutions for their project.Throughout the event, young entrepreneurs collaborated with various mentors and industry experts to guide and encourage participants.At the conclusion of the event, participants had created outstanding solutions through their projects, indicating substantial progress in the field of social entrepreneurship.

 

In this context, “Circle Up” offered participants an exploratory journey managed through sociocracy methods, enabling them to reveal their own potential.Young individuals who wanted to produce social benefit with the projects they designed after receiving knowledge transfer from valuable mentors/instructors who are professionals in their industries at the camp received crucial experience during this process.

 

The “Circle Up” theme of this year effectively increased the awareness of sustainable business models and economic development among young people, while also motivating them to suggest innovative solutions, On the last day, they had the opportunity to present the business concepts, which had been developed over the previous three days, to a jury based on their insights and knowledge.
