The BAU Hub start-up Mol-e's R&D project has qualified for funding!

Mol-e, a startup team from the BAU Hub Incubation Center, continues to attract attention for its recent successes.

 

With the support of 4,500,000 TL provided by the TÜBİTAK 1501 Industrial R&D Projects Support Program, it is evident that Mol-e is focused on innovative solutions that contribute to green transformation and prioritize hardware enterprises.

 

With this significant support, let’s also recall the previous successes of our venture, which will make a national leap in electronic waste recycling:

 

  • TÜBİTAK 1512 BIGG Support: Mol-e’s R&D activities are underlined by the help given by TÜBİTAK, a major scientific and technological institution.
  • The Most Eco-Friendly Start-Up of the Year Award: Mol-e was chosen as the most environmentally friendly and innovative ideas Start-Up of the Year at the event held at the Boğaziçi Environmental Awards.
  • 1st Place in the TEB Invention Competition: The Mol-e team, known for its innovative ideas, crowned its achievements by winning first place in the Invention Competition organized by Turkish Economy Bank.
  • Assistance in Reducing Carbon Emissions: Mol-e has received recognition from KOSGEB for its contributions to the advancement of eco-friendly technology.
  • Women in Innovation, Incubation Category 1st Place: Mol-e has added another award to its collection as the 2022 winner of the Incubator Category in the Women in Innovation project, owing to its innovative method for electronic waste management.
  • Sabancı ARF Accelerator Program: Between 2022 and 2023, it qualified for investment by participating in the prestigious Sabancı ARF Accelerator Program under Sabancı Holding.
  • Women Social Entrepreneur Award: In 2023, Müge Baltacı, the founder of Mol-e, received a significant award in recognition of her contributions to social enterprises. This achievement highlighted not only the impact of Mol-e but also the power of women entrepreneurs.
  • Accepted into the Start It Accelerate KBC Program: Acceptance into the Start it Accelerate KBC Program: Mol-e was accepted into the Start it Accelerate KBC program, securing its place among promising startups and continuing to enhance its recognition on the international arena.

  • TÜBİTAK 1501 Support: The creation of a deposit machine that offers waste classification for electronic waste recycling through the use of a deep learning-based classification model certified for TÜBİTAK support.
