Wastespresso, one of the BAU Hub startup teams, has achieved a significant milestone by receiving the B Corp certification, awarded to businesses that prioritize social and environmental impact.

By rescuing coffee grounds from being discarded and transforming them into innovative materials and product solutions, Wastespresso contributes to reducing both plastic waste and carbon footprint. Scoring 113.6 points in the B Corp assessment (with 80 as the passing score), the company has joined the ranks of businesses worldwide that deliver environmental and social benefits.
