LCOY 2025 Turkey Took Place in Konya on September 27–28

Led by university students from various regions of Turkey, and supported by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Konya Metropolitan Municipality, UNICEF, and several non-governmental organizations, the Local Conference of Youth – National Youth Conference (LCOY2025) was held in Konya.

At LCOY2025, which took place at the Konya Selçuklu Congress Center and brought together young people with business ideas focused on green growth, our BAU Hub / BUG Lab TEKMER Director, Seda Satır, stated: “If you have a green technology–focused business idea centered on the climate, learning how to measure impact and being able to offer simple, practical, and scalable solutions is the foundation of true innovation. And remember: entrepreneurs with impact-driven business ideas, alongside profitability, will create the most lasting values in the economy of the future.”

With the participation and significant contributions of BAU Climate Ambassador and BIZ Lab Pre-Incubation Program entrepreneur Kamil Koray Eryılmaz, the LCOY’25 Conference aims to support university student climate ambassadors in taking an active role in combating climate change in line with the 2053 Net Zero Emission and green development goals. The conference seeks to enhance their knowledge levels, leadership competencies, potential entrepreneurial ideas, and capacity to contribute to climate policies.

We congratulate everyone who contributed, and let’s continue moving forward together for a more livable world!
